Genuine or compatible?
This is a 100% genuine, Original Ricoh toner. Genuine supplies are critical for maintaining the health of your copier's fuser rollers. For customers doing massive volumes of draft-quality printing, our Royal compatible equivalent is available—it fits seamlessly into the same machines at a much lower price, offering a highly practical trade-off for busy offices.

Getting the most from this cartridge
- Always shake the toner bottle vigorously from side to side before inserting it into the copier to ensure the powder feeds correctly from the very first page.
- The 9,000-page yield is based on 5% page coverage; printing pages with heavy black graphics or solid borders will drain the toner considerably faster.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there an XL or high-yield alternative? This Type 1230D is the standard and maximum capacity for these machines.
- Do I need other colours to print? No, these copiers are monochrome only and only require black toner.
- What is the delivery time? Same-day delivery within Nairobi CBD and next-day for the rest of Kenya.
- What is your warranty or returns policy? Genuine Ricoh toners come with a standard manufacturer defect warranty.
- Can I refill this bottle manually? We strongly advise against manual refills, as incorrect toner powder will instantly destroy the developer unit.
