Getting the most from this cartridge
- Rock the cartridge gently side to side before fitting and pull the sealing tab out fully.
- Do not touch the chip on the side of the cartridge. On this generation a dirty or damaged chip is the usual cause of a not-genuine message on a perfectly good cartridge.
- If you print more than a ream a month, HP 76X holds substantially more in the same slot and costs less per page.
- 3,000 pages assumes 5% coverage. Invoices with heavy rules and dark headers will come in under that.
