Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP in the sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand. On enterprise fleets this matters more than anywhere. These machines usually sit on a service contract or a managed print agreement, and non-genuine consumables can put that arrangement in question. HP also builds anti-fraud technology into this range, so a non-genuine cartridge can be rejected outright rather than simply printing badly, and a rejected cartridge stops a department rather than one desk.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Enterprise-class stock held in the Nairobi CBD rather than ordered in on request.
- Countrywide courier delivery, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Mombasa included.
- M-Pesa or bank transfer, with proper invoicing and LPO handling for corporate accounts.
- WhatsApp us the model number, or visit The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Rock the cartridge gently before fitting. These are large, heavy cartridges and toner settles in transit.
- Order before you run out. On a shared enterprise machine the low-toner warning is usually ignored until the queue stops.
- Black empties before the colours here, which yield 10,500 against 12,500. Buying black singly rather than as a set is usually the cheaper approach.
- 12,500 pages assumes 5% coverage. Heavy colour reports and branded documents will come in well under that.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a higher-yield version? Yes. HP 656X fits the same printers and holds substantially more, which costs less per page on a busy machine.
- Do I need the colours too? Yes for colour printing. HP 655A cyan CF451A, yellow CF452A and magenta CF453A are sold separately at around 10,500 pages each.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi where stock is held, otherwise we will confirm lead time when you order.
- Can I return it? Yes, sealed and unused.
- Which cartridge suits a machine printing all day? Ask us to compare 655A and 656X against your monthly volume. On heavy use the larger cartridge usually wins clearly.
