Description
The HP 655 black Ink Advantage cartridge is the genuine Original HP replacement, part number CZ109AE, for HP's DeskJet Ink Advantage 3500, 4600, 5500 and 6500 series. These are four-cartridge machines — black, cyan, magenta and yellow each in a separate slot — so you replace only the colour that has actually run out.

Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP in the sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand. The four-cartridge design means you replace only what runs out, so the genuine cartridge already makes sense on cost. Ask us and we will quote a compatible alongside it if you want the comparison.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Stocked in the Nairobi CBD — ready to collect or dispatch today.
- Delivery across Kenya, including Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and Mombasa.
- Pay by M-Pesa or bank transfer, order on WhatsApp, or walk in to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Fit it as soon as the foil is open and remove only the nozzle tape.
- Because each colour is separate, check all four levels before ordering — the printer usually stops when any one is empty, even for a black-only job.
- 550 pages assumes 5% coverage; heavy text and forms will come in under that.
- Store spares flat and boxed, away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight. Both toner and ink degrade faster when stored in a hot storeroom, so keep them somewhere cool and dry.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a higher-yield version? HP 655 is the standard range for this series; ask us what else is available for your exact model.
- Do I need the colour cartridges too? Yes for colour printing — this printer uses separate cyan CZ110AE, magenta CZ111AE and yellow CZ112AE cartridges.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi, next working day upcountry.
- Can I return it? Yes, sealed and unused.
- Will the printer stop if only a colour is empty? Usually yes, even for a black job — keep an eye on all four levels.
