Original Hp Ink Cartridges
HP 650 Black Ink Advantage Cartridge (CH561HE)
KSh 2,500
Description
The HP 650 black ink cartridge is the genuine Original HP Ink Advantage cartridge, part number CZ101AE, for the DeskJet Ink Advantage range HP built for markets like ours. At roughly 360 pages it is one of the better value black cartridges in the HP inkjet line, which is exactly why these printers sell so well in Kenyan offices and shops. The ink is pigment-based, so printed text resists smudging and fading on filed documents.
Compatible printers
- DeskJet Ink Advantage: 1015, 1515, 2515, 2545, 2645, 3515, 3545, 4515, 4645

Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP, sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which is always sold as Royal. The Ink Advantage line was designed by HP specifically for lower running costs in emerging markets, so the genuine cartridge is already competitively priced against compatibles here. That is worth weighing before choosing a non-genuine alternative, and we will give you the honest comparison if you ask.

Getting the most from this cartridge
- Fit it as soon as the foil is opened. Pigment ink dries at the nozzles quickly once exposed to air.
- Peel the tape from the nozzle plate only and keep fingers away from the contacts.
- 360 pages assumes 5% coverage. Heavy text, tables and forms will bring that down, sometimes sharply.
- Ink Advantage printers are built for volume, so use them. A cartridge that sits for months in a printer nobody switches on will clog long before the ink runs out.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a higher-yield version? Yes, HP 650XL is available for the same printers where stock allows.
- Do I need the tri-colour too? Only for colour work, but most of these models want both cartridges seated before printing.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi, next working day to most towns.
- Can I return it? Yes, sealed and unused.
- Why is this cheaper per page than other HP cartridges? Because Ink Advantage is HP's low-running-cost line. The cartridge holds more ink for the price than the standard DeskJet cartridges do.
