Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP in the sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which we always sell under its own name. On a workgroup colour machine the four cartridges have to lay down consistently against each other for colours to come out right. One non-genuine cartridge with a slightly different pigment shifts every colour page, and on a machine printing thousands of pages a month you will have produced a great deal of work before anyone traces the fault.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Held in Nairobi CBD stock, including for colour lasers other suppliers have dropped.
- Countrywide courier delivery, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Mombasa included.
- M-Pesa or bank transfer, with proper invoicing and LPO handling for corporate accounts.
- WhatsApp us the model number, or walk in to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Rock the cartridge gently before fitting. These are heavy cartridges and toner settles during shipping.
- Handle it by the ends and keep the drum away from light and fingers.
- At 11,000 pages the colours outlast the black, which yields 8,500. Check all four levels before ordering rather than assuming they empty together.
- 11,000 pages assumes 5% coverage of cyan specifically. Full-colour reports and marketing work will consume it considerably faster.
Frequently asked questions
- Why are the colours 648A when the black is 647A? That is how HP numbered this range. The three colours are 648A and the black is 647A (CE260A). They fit the same printers and are bought as a set.
- Do I need the other cartridges too? In time yes. The set is black CE260A at 8,500 pages, plus yellow CE262A and magenta CE263A at around 11,000 pages each.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi, next working day to most towns.
- Can I return it? Yes, sealed and unused.
- Will this fit a CM4540 MFP? Send us your model and we will confirm before you pay. Sources disagree on that machine and we would rather check than have you return a cartridge at this price.
