HP 61 Tri-Colour Original Ink Cartridge
KSh 4,500
Description
The HP 61 tri-colour ink cartridge is the genuine Original HP colour cartridge, part number CH562WN, holding cyan, magenta and yellow in one unit. It covers a wide spread of HP DeskJet, ENVY and OfficeJet all-in-ones that are still in daily use across Kenyan offices. It pairs with the HP 61 black, and most of these printers will not start a job unless both cartridges are seated.

Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP in the sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which we always sell under the Royal name so nobody is misled about what they are buying. One thing worth knowing before you order: HP 61 and HP 122 look almost identical and share a base part number, but they are not the same cartridge. The 61 holds more ink and covers more printers. Check which number your printer manual calls for.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Stocked at our Nairobi CBD shop, ready for same-day collection.
- Courier delivery countrywide, from Nakuru and Eldoret through to Mombasa.
- M-Pesa or bank transfer, with a proper invoice for office accounts.
- Order on WhatsApp with a photo of your printer, or walk in to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Fit it straight out of the foil and pull the tape from the nozzles only, never from the copper contacts.
- All three colours share one body. When any single colour runs dry the cartridge is finished, so heavy single-colour work is the fastest way to waste it.
- 165 pages assumes 5% coverage. Photographs and full-page graphics will use it far sooner.
- Run an alignment page after fitting. It takes one sheet and prevents the colour registration problems that otherwise get blamed on the cartridge.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a high-yield version? Yes, HP 61XL fits the same printers and holds considerably more ink.
- Do I need the black cartridge too? Yes in practice, as most of these models refuse to print with only one cartridge fitted.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi, next working day to most other towns.
- Can I return it? Yes, if it is sealed and unused.
- Can I top up only the colour that ran out? No. The three colours share one cartridge and it is replaced whole.
