Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP in the sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which is always sold under the Royal name. Machines of this age attract remanufactured and counterfeit toner, and on a four-cartridge colour machine the signs show quickly: streaking, background shading and a black that fuses differently from the three colours around it. Ask us and we will price a compatible openly alongside it.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Held in Nairobi CBD stock, including for colour lasers other suppliers have dropped.
- Countrywide courier delivery, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Mombasa included.
- M-Pesa or bank transfer, with proper invoicing for business accounts.
- WhatsApp us the model number, or walk in to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Rock the cartridge gently end to end before fitting, then pull the sealing strip out in one steady movement.
- Handle it by the ends and keep the drum away from light and fingers.
- Black is used on nearly every page, so it empties before the colours. Buying black on its own rather than as a set is usually the cheaper approach.
- 5,000 pages assumes 5% coverage. Reports with shaded tables and colour headers will fall short of that.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a higher-yield version? Yes, HP 504X black holds considerably more and fits the same printers.
- Do I need the colours too? Yes for colour printing. HP 504A cyan CE251A, yellow CE252A and magenta CE253A are sold separately at around 7,000 pages each.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi, next working day to most towns.
- Can I return it? Yes, sealed and unused.
- Why do the colours yield more than the black? HP fills the colour cartridges to a higher page count on this range. It is unusual, and it means you will replace the black more often than the colours.
