HP 305A Yellow Toner Laserjet (CE412A)
KSh 7,500
Description
The HP 305A yellow toner cartridge is the genuine Original HP replacement, part number CE412A, for the HP LaserJet Pro 300 and 400 colour series. It is one of three colour cartridges in these machines and is replaced individually, so you buy only the colour that has actually run out rather than a whole set.

Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP, sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which we always sell as Royal. One point worth knowing before you order: the 304A and 305A ranges look similar and are often confused, but they fit different machines. The 304A serves the CP2025 and CM2320; the 305A serves the M351, M375, M451 and M475. Read the number on the cartridge already in your printer, or send us the model and we will match it before you pay.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Held in Nairobi CBD stock, including for colour lasers other suppliers have dropped.

- WhatsApp us the model number, or walk in to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Rock the cartridge gently end to end before fitting, then pull the sealing strip out in one steady movement.
- Handle it by the ends and keep the drum away from light and fingers.
- At 2,600 pages the colours outlast the black, which yields 2,200. Check all four levels before ordering rather than assuming they empty together.
- 2,600 pages assumes 5% coverage of yellow specifically, so a page carrying a large block of that colour can consume a great deal more than the figure suggests.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a higher-yield version? HP offers a high-yield black, the 305X. The colours are sold as standard capacity only.
- Do I need the other cartridges too? In time yes. The set is black CE410A at 2,200 pages, plus cyan CE411A and magenta CE413A at around 2,600 pages each.
- How soon can I get it? Same day within Nairobi, next working day upcountry.
- Can I return it? Yes, provided it is sealed and unused.
- Is 305A the same as 304A? No. They serve different printers despite the similar numbering, so check the cartridge already in your machine.
