HP 305 Tri-Colour Original Ink Cartridge
KSh 2,200
Description
The HP 305 tri-colour ink cartridge is the genuine Original HP colour cartridge, part number 3YM60AE, for HP's current compact DeskJet and ENVY all-in-ones. Cyan, magenta and yellow come in one unit. It pairs with the HP 305 black, and these printers will generally not run a job at all unless both cartridges are fitted and recognised.

Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP in the sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which we sell openly under its own name. As with the black, this printer generation verifies cartridges in firmware, so counterfeits and refills are frequently rejected rather than merely printing poorly. Buying genuine avoids a machine that simply will not print.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Held in Nairobi CBD stock for same-day collection or dispatch.
- Delivered countrywide by courier, including Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and Mombasa.
- M-Pesa and bank transfer both accepted, invoice on request.
- Order on WhatsApp, or come to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Seat it firmly until it clicks. Not-recognised errors on this generation are usually seating, not a faulty cartridge.
- Hold it by the sides and keep fingers off the printhead and contacts underneath.
- 100 pages assumes 5% coverage. Photos and full-colour pages will finish it far sooner, so consider HP 305XL if colour is a regular job.
- Print in colour occasionally even if most of your work is black. A colour cartridge that sits unused for months will clog, and the ink is lost either way.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a high-yield option? Yes, HP 305XL tri-colour fits the same machines and lasts considerably longer.
- Do I need the black cartridge too? Yes. These models normally refuse to print with only one cartridge installed.
- How soon can I get it? Same day within Nairobi, next working day upcountry.
- What are the return terms? Sealed and unused cartridges can be exchanged or refunded.
- Only the yellow has run out. Can that be replaced alone? No. The three colours share a single cartridge, which is replaced as one unit.
