HP 26A Black Original Laserjet Toner Cartridge
KSh 8,500
Description
The HP 26A black toner cartridge is the genuine Original HP replacement, part number CF226A, for the HP LaserJet Pro M402 and MFP M426 series. These are proper workgroup mono lasers, fast and built for volume, and at 3,100 pages the cartridge matches the machine rather than holding it back.

Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original HP, sealed box. Not a refill and not our Royal house brand, which is always sold as Royal. The M402 and M426 are among the more counterfeited HP cartridge ranges because the machines sold in volume to offices. A fake shows itself through grey rather than black text, poor fusing and toner that comes off on your fingers. On a shared workgroup printer that is a problem for everyone, not just the person who bought the cartridge. Ask us for an honest comparison if price is the deciding factor.
Why buy from Trinatech
- Stocked in the Nairobi CBD, in depth, because this is a high-turnover business cartridge.
- Courier countrywide, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Mombasa included.
- M-Pesa or bank transfer, with proper invoicing and LPO handling for corporate accounts.
- WhatsApp us the model number, or walk in to The One Mall on River Road.
Getting the most from this cartridge
- Rock the cartridge gently side to side before fitting and remove the sealing tab completely.
- If your office prints more than a few thousand pages a month, HP 26X holds substantially more toner in the same slot and works out cheaper per page. Ask us to compare the two on your actual volume.
- Store spares flat and boxed, away from heat and damp. Toner clumps in humidity and clumped toner streaks.
- 3,100 pages assumes 5% coverage. Forms, invoices with heavy rules and anything with a black header block will fall short.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a higher-yield version? Yes, HP 26X black fits the same printers and prints roughly three times as many pages.
- Do I need a separate drum? No. The drum is built into the cartridge, so both are replaced together.
- How fast is delivery? Same day within Nairobi, next working day to most towns.
- Can I return it? Yes, sealed and unused.
- Can this cartridge be refilled? Physically yes, but the drum wears on the same schedule as the toner, so a refilled cartridge streaks sooner and the saving is smaller than it looks.
