Description
The HP 123 tri-colour ink cartridge is the genuine Original HP colour cartridge, part number F6V16AE, for the newer compact DeskJet all-in-ones that print, scan and copy. Cyan, magenta and yellow come in one unit. Fit it alongside the HP 123 black, since most of these machines will not print until both cartridges are seated and recognised.

Getting the most from this cartridge
- Fit it as soon as the foil is open and press until it clicks. A cartridge that is not fully seated is the usual reason a new one reads as missing.
- Leave the tape on the contacts alone; only the nozzle tape comes off.
- 100 pages is measured at 5% coverage, so photo printing or full-page colour will go through it quickly.
- These printers do a cleaning cycle at power-up. Leaving the printer switched on rather than cycling it repeatedly through the day saves a surprising amount of ink.
