Description
The Epson LQ-2190 Black Ribbon Cartridge (S015327) is a high-capacity, extreme-durability supply designed for Epson's heavy-duty wide-carriage dot matrix printers. Engineered to print up to 8 million characters, this continuous fabric ribbon ensures flawless, uninterrupted production of multi-part invoices, shipping manifests, and continuous tractor-feed forms. Genuine or compatible?
This is a genuine, Original Epson ribbon cartridge. Genuine Epson ribbons are seamlessly welded to prevent the fabric from fraying and jamming the delicate 24-pin printhead. If you are operating a busy logistics or accounting department on a strict budget, we also stock a Royal compatible cartridge for these models. The Royal version fits exactly the same and is highly cost-effective for continuous daily printing.

Getting the most from this cartridge
- Before snapping the massive cartridge into the printer chassis, turn the tension knob several times to ensure the fabric is pulled tightly across the ribbon mask. Ensure your printer's paper thickness lever is set correctly for the type of forms you are using; if it is set too close, it will smear the ink and wear out the ribbon extremely quickly.
