Genuine or compatible?
Genuine, Original Canon toner. Not a refill. Using genuine Canon toner is critical for these high-speed machines to maintain optimal image quality. If you are aiming to cut overhead costs on internal draft printing, mention our Royal compatible brand when you order—it fits the exact same printers at a significantly lower price point without sacrificing text clarity.

Getting the most from this cartridge
- Keep the toner safely stored in its original box until your machine physically prompts for a replacement.
- Because actual page yield depends heavily on your printing habits, you can extend the life of the toner by setting your copier defaults to lower density mode for everyday internal paperwork that doesn't need to be presentation-quality.
