Specifications

Genuine or compatible?

This is a 100% genuine, Original Brother toner cartridge supplied in a factory-sealed box. Genuine toner is precisely formulated to melt exactly at your specific machine's fusing temperature, which protects the lifespan of your separate DR-3405 imaging drum. However, if aggressive cost savings are your primary concern for internal operations, our Royal compatible equivalent is available for these heavy-duty models. The Royal version gives you the same perfect fit and high capacity at a significantly lower cost, making it an excellent trade-off for high-volume, non-archival everyday printing.

Getting the most from this cartridge

• Keep the toner safely stored in its original foil packaging away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures until your machine explicitly prompts you for a replacement.
• Before inserting the new high-capacity cartridge, hold it horizontally and rock it back and forth several times to ensure the micro-fine toner is evenly distributed inside the chamber.
• To maximize your impressive 8,000-page yield, encourage your team to utilize the printer's toner-save function for internal memos and draft documents that do not require deep, presentation-quality solid blacks.
• Furthermore, always remember to slide the green corona wire tab on your drum unit to clean it when installing this new toner.
